Started training dogs in the 80's as a junior handler. Became very interested in behavior medicine as a veterinary technician. I have maintained over the past almost 40 years a passion for training dogs in both competitive dog sports and helping people and dog better understand each other in "the real world".

Training Philosophy: Creating a connected relationship built on love and trust. Teaching using play, fun and games. Fixing behavior problems by getting to the root of the issue and using positive reinforcement based behavior modification and management.

As an active outdoors person with a passion for training dogs and helping people over the past 40 years I have developed a very big mental tool box for solving problems. My dogs and I have climbed mountains, backpacked thousands of miles, competed in dog sports and worked as therapy dog teams. We like to do it all!
