For many years I have worked with and around dogs.  Each one has had an individual personality that has taught me something new in the process of helping them learn. In 2003 I helped develop 3 of the 5 dog parks in the Clark County area.  Throughout that process I worked with trainers to put together the park safety rules. I started learning about canine behavior and body language and I was fascinated. This led me to pursue a career in the animal field and I started working as a Veterinary Assistant.  Since then, I have helped many people understand their dog’s behavior and why they do what they do. I realized many people get dogs but are not sure how deal with training and behavioral issues, or how to create a learning environment that builds trust for a lifelong relationship with their dog. I wanted to help people learn to work their dogs, so I became a Certified Professional Dog Trainer in 2016 when I graduated with honors from Animal Behavioral College. I have been certified by the Certification Council for Professional Dog trainers and hold a CPDT-KA.  I am very proud to hold this certification and I attend classes and conferences yearly in order to recertify every 3 years.  This also keeps me up to date on all the latest training methods and tools.  I also hold a certification in Feline management for those co-habitation households and am a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers.
