Eastern Sierra Dog Sports was born out of a need for better options in working with our dogs. With over 25 years of experience with dogs, studying animal behavior and how dogs learn best, Kelly offers a wide variety of training classes and possesses a depth of knowledge that allows her to connect with both her human and canine students. Both puppies and adults dog thrive in our classes and shy, fearful and boisterous dogs are welcome. For some dogs one on one lessons allow for focus on specific challenges and private sessions are available. Our goal is to provide the skills your dog needs so that they can become a well behaved family member that is a joy to be with.

Training Equipment: As little as possible. The best equipment is the relationship that is developed with trust, consistency and practice. We recommend a simple flat buckle or martingale collar and a six foot lead.

 

Training Philosophy: Less is more. Keep it simple. Our methods are science based and focus is on what we want our dogs to do rather than what we wish they wouldn't do. We do not use punitive methods or harsh corrections.

 

Locations Served: Eastern Sierra Dog Sports is located in Mammoth Lakes, California and provides group classes in Mammoth Lakes and Bishop CA. We serve the Eastern Sierra and our clients are spread from Bridgeport to Lone Pine and east into Nevada.
