The goals of Dogz Are Us are to assist you to develop a positive relationship with your dog, to learn how to communicate so your dog understands you, and to have a well mannered dog that you can be confident with in any situation. Positive training techniques will be used to achieve your goal of living a happy life with your dog. I began working with dogs when I was 12 years old, and now being a bit older I am finally able to live my passion as a certified professional dog trainer. I have been an educator for 29 years in Champaign-Urbana and the Northwest Suburbs for the past 16 years. I have two dogs, Eli, a Maltese, and Cody, a Mi-Ki. Eli has achieved a lot in his 10 years. He has a MACH, he is a certified therapy dog, he has his Canine Good Citizen certification, he has an Expert Trick Dog Title and an AKC Trick Dog Performer Title, and a wonderful companion. Cody has his Canine Good Citizen certification, he did some nosework, and he is the best cuddler in the world.
