I focus mainly on people wanting to assess and train their dogs for therapy work. I offer small group classes through www.agilecanines.com (students register through me at: siberpa@aol.com). I am available for private Therapy Dog or TTouch sessions as well.

Training Equipment: All three national therapy dog groups require non-aversive equipment so students may choose what works best for their dog off the list of approved equipment on the website for the national group they want to eventually test with.

 

Training Philosophy: Dogs need to have fun and enjoy the training sessions. Training sessions are designed to meet the individual's needs (both handler and their dog) instead of a one size fits .all philosophy.

 

Locations Served: I primarily teach Therapy Dog Classes for Pawsabilities in St. Louis Park, private sessions are available at a facility in Edina or Eden Prairie.

 

I have twenty years experience as a therapy dog handler (and with several species) am a C.P.D.T. and have visited in a variety of venues. I am a Pet Partners Evaluator and have taught Animal Assisted Therapy Classes at the University level. I also offer TTouch workshops throughout the year and am a TTouch Practitioner
