I use buckle and clip collars and martingale collars. I use harnesses, clickers, whistles also Training Philosophy: Reward-based training - I train you to train your dog! I work with family pet dogs only and I do not use any old-school coercive or force training methods. I use science based methods for example operant conditioning, counter conditioning... I offer positive, reward-based training in your home. Currently I only offer private lessons. Students can choose pay by the hour lessons or my package plans (these will save you money if you think you are going to need many hourly lessons.) I hope to offer group classes in the near future. I serve the Columbia SC area and pricing will depend on location and specific needs. I teach you to train your dog in obedience and I help you help your dog with other behaviors for example: potty training/housebreaking; no jumping; fear issues; and other problems. I always complete an initial behavior evaluation for your dog first. I offer packages for puppy 101; basic obedience; intermediate obedience and session by session plan for certain specific behaviors. My goal is to teach you how to have a dog that will be a good family member and to have a good relationship with your dog that does not require yelling and getting angry. I teach you how your dog thinks and why your dog does the things he does so that you can have a better understanding of him which then increases the bonding you can have with your dog! I'll teach dog body language too. I also work with expecting parents who already have dogs and with families with kids who want to add a dog to the equation. I do not work with aggressive dogs, however, I do work with resource guarding or possession guarding types of aggression.
