Toil & Truffle specializes in canine scent training for truffle detection, truffle harvesting, and wild edible foraging. We promote sustainable harvesting of truffles through environmentally friendly techniques, and are working with the truffle industry to promote the use of dogs for truffle location in the United States. We are based out of Seattle, Washington, but you will find us traveling up and down the west coast from California to British Columbia to check on established truffle plantations and to forage for wild edibles. At Toil & Truffle we also cater to all things canine, and all things foraged. Need to teach fido to sit and stay? We do that. Want to get your hand on some locally sourced wild mushrooms? We do that too. Little baby Stella afraid of the dog? We will create a peaceful and joyous atmosphere with our trained therapy dogs to get her over her insecurities about doggies, and teach her how to act around dogs to keep her safe and happy. While our primary activity at Toil & Truffle is related to truffle harvesting and training, we have over 5 years of experience training dogs with positive reinforcement techniques and will tackle any problem or situation you can think of.
