Training Equipment: Clickers, treats, toys, buckle collars, head halters, harnesses, leashes, target sticks, crates, resting mats, tunnels, obstacles & footing surfaces (Puppy K), wheelchairs, brushes etc (CGC).

 

Training Philosophy: We utilize POSITVE, NON-FORCE training methods that enhance the handler/dog bond. We conduct an Orientation on dog psychology, bonding, leadership, attention and learning theory before on-lead work.

 

Locations Served: We provide group and individual basic classes in Puppy Kindergarten, Pet Dog Manners and Beginning Obedience at our facility in Heathsville. In addition, we provide initial consultations, behavior assessments and behavior consultations in your home in Northumberland, Lancaster, Richmond, and lower Westmoreland Counties. We offer a variety of packages and pricing to accomodate any budget.

Our typical group class offerings include: Puppy Kindergarten; Pet Dog Manners and Beginning Obedience, but we will custom build a training package just for you and your dog to meet your specific training goals. In addition to our training classes and packages; we also offer private consultation, behavior assessments and behavior consultations for many common behavior problems. Our trainer is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed CPDT-KA and continually takes courses and attends seminars and workshops for professional development to maintain and enhance knowledge of learning theory, brain science and state of the art training methods.
