Wayzata As a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, Susan Ward created pupDOGS Training with the family pet owner in mind.
Leave our classes ready to:
* Walk confidently anywhere with a dog who no longer takes you for a walk.
* Enjoy a dog who is focused on you and responds when you call her name - at home, in the park, around the neighborhood - wherever real-life takes you!
* Invite friends and family over knowing your dog will be calm and well behaved at the door, during dinner, while watching a movie or grilling in the backyard - whatever real-life pursuits you choose!
Our Puppy Head Start classes are OPEN ENROLLMENT which means you can start as soon as your puppy arrives. No more waiting precious weeks for a class to begin. The critical socialization period for puppies only lasts until they are 16 weeks old. You don't want to waste a single day! The classes focus on socialization through puppy play to build polite, well-mannered adult dogs, behavior problem prevention and solutions along with everything else puppies and their owners need!
Our Real-Life Manners classes lay the foundation to get you and your dog working together in increasingly challenging real-life contexts - so that you can get the behaviors where you need them most - in real life! Behaviors include come when called, walk nicely on leash, sit, down, stay, and more!
Private training is ideal for dogs struggling with behavioral issues: aggression, anxiety, guarding food/objects, etc... It is also best for dogs (or owners) who find group training too distracting, exciting, or overwhelming to learn to the best of their abilities. And if you want results in the shortest amount of time - private training is the way to go!
