"Having a dog should be a joy, not a battle."
Through education, management, and training, I give my clients the information and skills that they need to build great, lifelong relationships with their dogs.
I address all sorts of behavioral issues that pop up in the dog-human relationship, from youthful exuberance to aggression, barking and pulling, or reactivity and fear. All dog behavior can be modified and changed using positive reinforcement training along with desensitization and counter conditioning. While each case is unique, each case is also the same. It all begins with communication and engagement and travels joyfully to a greater understanding between two species, and a rich relationship for life.
I have a beautiful, quiet, training building which is the optimal environment in which to learn. After both human and dog have developed some skills, we can address behavioral issues and take the training out into the world. Positive Reinforcement training builds confidence in dogs very quickly because it enables the dog to be successful. Enjoy life together!
