As a graduate of Rutgers University in Animal Science, I have devoted my life to animals and have 20 years experience in canine obedience. My first obedience dog earned 2 AKC obedience titles in less than 2 years and was trained through utility. He also had his CGC as well as being a certified therapy dog with TDI. Subsequent dogs have been trained through basic obedience but family life left little time for the show ring. When I am not giving classes in obedience, I volunteer for the Mid Atlantic English Springer Spaniel rescue as a member of the their Training and Behavior team. I love dogs and enjoy teaching people to have an enhanced relationship with them through mutual respect. My main mission for offering in-home private training at reasonable prices is solely to keep dogs out of shelters, as I have seen many times that dogs land in shelters for behaviors that could have been modified with obedience training and educating the owner.
