Accredited professional dog trainer for the last 14 years teaching obedience classes for Puppy, Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced (CGC prep) levels, Tricks training as well as working with problems such as aggressive behavior, reactivity, separation anxiety, shyness and phobias. While I love working with ALL dogs, I find it most rewarding to work with and see positive results in dogs suffering those fear based issues. I want every dog to be a happy dog able to navigate our world confidently! I am available to work in-home with you on just about any training issue you are having! Does your dog jump all over your guests, steal food or pee on the rug? Do you get dragged down the street on walks or does your dog bark excessively every time the doorbell rings? Using positive reinforcement methods your dog will learn to Sit when greeting guests, Leave things that aren't theirs, relieve themselves outdoors, Heel politely on leash and quietly Stay when the doorbell rings. I also offer behavioral consults to discuss solutions to problems like aggressive behavior, reactivity, separation anxiety, shyness and phobias. I use reward marker training (a click from a clicker or a verbal cue like "yes!") to speed up the training process and provide clear, precise communication with your dog. I have worked with hundreds of dogs of all shapes, sizes and temperaments from Chihuahua to Pit-bull and Shih Tzu to German Shepherd Dog.
