I started Paul’s Dog Training Company with the primary goal of helping people and their dogs understand each other in a way that fosters a respectful, loyal, and committed relationship. Alongside and in collaboration with guardians, I continue to handle dogs of all ages, breeds, and backgrounds. Some dogs need support with basic obedience, while others struggle with more serious behaviour issues such as separation anxiety and reactivity. I have also been fortunate enough to support therapy dogs, emotional support dogs, companion/ service dogs.

With a master’s degree in health science, from the University of Victoria, in British Columbia, Canada, I started my canine education with a CPR and first aid course. I enrolled at Stratford Career Institute and after a year of full-time study I received my Canine Specialist diploma with high honours. After an additional three years of full-time study, I graduated with high honours and received certification from the Animal Behaviour College, in Santa Clara, California. I am registered with the Association of Professional Dog Trainers, the Canadian Association of Professional Dog Trainers, the International Association of Animal Behaviour Consultants and the Professional Animal Care and Training Association of BC.
