BA in Special Education, 20 years teaching Special Education, Began training dogs in 2008 as an apprentice trainer. Went through Animal Behavioral College Dog Trainer program in 2012. Opened Sit Stay Play Co. in 2013 and Sit Stay Play Michigan in 2017. I take pride in keeping up with current research and techniques, and attending conferences and seminars in person and online regularly.

Sit Stay Play Michigan is a Reward Based training facility. We are proud to adhere to the APDT, AVMA, ACVB, and AVSAB standards. We do not use any tools that were designed to cause pain or fear. We have small classes, and also offer private lessons. I am a Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed, Certified Family Dog Mediator, Animal Behavior College Certified Dog Trainer, AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator. We also use Control Unleashed Pattern Games, and are in the process of being a Control Unleashed Certified Instructor.
