Stacy grew up in a small-ish city in central/west Texas & has had a love for all creatures since she was a young girl. She always knew she wanted to work with dogs & after having too much fun in college she decided she wanted to learn to be a dog trainer. With the full support of her family she started down that path in 1999 & has not looked back since. In the summer of '99 Stacy packed her bags & headed to Queens New York to learn all about dog training & behavior at a placed called the Animal Behavior Center of New York. She lived in a Best Western with 2 other girls & went to "school" 6 days a week to learn everything she could about dogs, behavior, learning theory, ethology & how to work with clients. After 3 months of that she obtained a certificate which boasted Canine Behavior Therapist. In 2003 Stacy started her own business after working for a big box pet store teaching classes for 3 years. In 2018, Stacy earned her dog trainer certification - CPDT-KA - through the Council of Certified Professional Dog Trainers. Stacy currently has 2 dogs, 2 box turtles, 3 beautiful daughters & a very patient husband. Her dogs consist of a senior (16 years old!) Australian Shepherd, Noah & a 7-year-old Beagle, Charlotte.
