Puppy Socialization including AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Certification. Basic Beginners and Intermediate Obedience to prepare for AKC CGC Certification. CGC Certification. Private Day Training offered for specific behavioral concerns, such as leash aggression, house soiling, resource guarding, recall, door manners, etc. Concentrated training for the dog and private coaching for the owner. New Puppy consultations and assistance in choosing the right breed for you. Positive reinforcement training utilizing the lure/reward method. Our training yard is a safe, lighted, fenced , easy turfed area where puppies are allowed to play off leash with each other. We welcome the whole family and encourage youngsters to participate in the fun. Our trainers are experienced and knowledgeable in many dog related activities including competition obedience, rally obedience, conformation, agility, tracking, schutzhund, ring sport, dock diving, herding, flyball, lure coursing, earth dog, hunt tests and field trials. Over the years we have participated in therapy dog programs and teaching school children about responsible dog ownership. We are constantly taking courses and seminars to increase our knowledge base and to keep up with the latest in dog related news. Our training director is the Obedience Chair for the Del Sur Kennel Club and both our lead trainers are members of various dog clubs.
