Training Philosophy: I use multiple modalities including, positive reinforcement, e.g. verbal praise, physical affection, high value treats, and meaningful motivational corrections where indicated. Human leadership is emphasized.

Although I have been training dogs since I was an adolescent, my formal dog training and behavior management expertise and subsequent certification, was obtained from the Anthony Jerone School of Dog Training and Career, Inc. It is the only Dog Training School licensed and approved by the New York State Education Departments’ Bureau of Proprietary School Supervision. I am also a member of the APDT, certified by the American Red Cross in Dog & Cat first aid, as well as authorized to be an AKC Canine Good Citizens evaluator. I was also a Therapy Dog Team member at New York Presbyterian Hospital in White Plains, NY and The Bristol Assisted Living residence also in White Plains. I am a volunteer with a therapy dog team at Burke Rehabilitation Institute in White Plains. What We Do (partial list) Provide education and practice in beginning and advanced dog "family manners" training, in-home training, off leash training, socialization training, crate training, puppy selection assistance and training, nutritional guidance, new baby and dog safety, poison awareness and control, diet schedules, health programs, canine learning theory, canine body language, canine aggression, canine anatomy, behavior management, breed specific knowledge and experience. I am a member of The Expert Institute as an "expert in dog behavior".
