She has been working with dogs off and on since 1983 when she started working with racing Greyhounds, later she went to work at an animal hospital and was trained to be a vet assistant. She grew as a vet assistant until she left the industry in 1998, but returned to the field in 2009 and became a pet trainer in March 2010. She is skilled in using all dog training tools in the most humane methods available while working and training dogs from puppies to seniors; through all levels of obedience training in group and private, behavioral modification, back yard agility, as well as teaching tricks.  She has also worked with all different types of breeds from Chihuahuas to Russian Wolf Hounds as well as passive dogs to aggressive dogs.  She has been trained to use positive reinforcement with classical and operant conditioning techniques while working in small to large class room environments and their owners at one time as well as in private one-on-one sessions.
