Teach basic obedience in group or private sessions: puppy (includes potty training, socialization), beginner, intermediate, advanced (Canine Good Citizen prep). Provide testing/certification for CGC.

Training Equipment: Regular leash (not retractable), nylon collar or harness, training treats.

 

Training Philosophy: Positive reinforcement-rewarding behavior you want so it will continue, ignoring/redirecting behavior you do not want so it will fade. Learn to communicate with your dog, strengthening the bond between you, and making you and the dog happier.

 

Locations Served: Located in Downers Grove, serving west suburban area.

 

In addition to training dogs, I have over 10 years' service as a volunteer at West Suburban Humane Society in Downers Grove, IL, helping people find the right dog for them and teaching humane education classes. I test and certify dogs as AKC Canine Good Citizens.
