Training Equipment: Food and praise, collar, leash, communications and a few jumps based on the age of dog and highth of the dog. Rally obedience we use orange cones, jumps and signs that describe the task at hand.

 

Training Philosophy: Prase, food and toys and a lot of hugs are used to motivate the type of behavior that the owner wants. We break down training into small bits of information to help the dog and handler learn.

 

Locations Served: Florida's Gulf Coast of Sarasota, Manatee, Lee, and Charlotte counties.

 

I am certified by AKC (American Kennel Club) to teach the puppy S.T.A.R. program for puppies under one year of age and CGC certification for dogs over the age of one year. I not only teach obedience, rally obedience, and agility but have successfully competed in these areas for 20 years. My experience has prepared me to teach in other breed registries such as UKC (United Kennel Club) and ASCA (Australian Shepherd Club of America). Routinely attend seminars for continuing education.
