I have over ten years of experience working in Animal-Assisted Interventions with children, young adults, and elderly populations. I also have over 10 years experience working as a professional dog trainer and have worked with thousands of dogs of all breeds and backgrounds. I am passionate about rescue work and have volunteered with private rescue organizations and LA Animal Services to rehabilitate traumatized and aggressive dogs. I am also an expert in the area of child-dog socialization and work to educate the community about dog safety, which helps to prevent children from being bitten by dogs. Recently, I went back to school to pursue a master's degree in Occupational Therapy. With this degree, I hope to be able to develop community-based programs that pair shelter dogs with special populations in order to increase the health and wellbeing of all involved.
