With a background in psychology and long career in public health and behavioral sciences, Natalie brings a wealth of theoretical knowledge as well as practical application of scientifically-based training strategies to help dogs learn. She is a graduate of Animal Behavior College, where she earned a certificate in domestic dog training and behavior modification, and is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers. She has worked with a wide range of dog clients and their families and volunteers at the Maryland SPCA, where she gains invaluable hands-on experience with many dogs of different temperaments, sizes and problematic behaviors; she continues to expand her knowledge through participation in learning seminars for pet dog trainers, exchanges with other trainers, and on-going academic studies – both independent and formal.
