The idea of this company started 10 years ago, when June Schnabl sat for long hours at rehab facilities and the occasional hospital with friends and family. Not only was the boredom overwhelming the morale she encountered from the patients was very low. She started asking questions about the absence of K9 companions in the facilities. To her dismay, she learned that there are just not enough volunteers to make a daily impact. It was at that point that June started researching and decided to enlist the help of her best friend, Pooch. Pooch was a 7 year old whippet that entered into this training program with some hesitance. June and Pooch successfully completed the training programs and the once hesitant Pooch, was excited to put on his vest, and go to work.
