We offer a wide range of classes from puppy to obedience to specialized classes for fearful, shy, reactive or impulsive dogs. Plus, private in-home or at our facility training including daytime drop off and train. We only use non-aversive methods and believe strongly in working closely with owners to help achieve their goals. Behavior consultations offered as well as shelter assessments. Our facility offers day, evening and weekend classes, 7 days a week with three locations (Poland, Austintown and Hermitage PA).

Training Philosophy: I use non-aversive methods and look to work on the root of the problem, not suppression of the problem. I work closely with the owner and their veterinarian to develop workable treatment plans for behavior issues .

I have been training and working with dogs for over 31 years and am the owner of Dogsmartz Unleashed, LLC. I have a special interest in working with fearful dogs. I am a CBCC-KA (Certifed Behavior Consultant-Canine), CPDT KA, VSPDT, Fear Free Certified and CGC Evaluator. I teach puppy, obedience, tricks and specialize in fear, aggression and anxiety work. I use only non aversive methods and work closely with owners to develop and execute behavior plans. I offer private and in home training and teach seminars to help educate others.
