You and your family will be working with a professional trainer either in a group class setting or in a personalized one on one in home training program. Beginning Obedience includes: teaching heel, sit, stay, down and come using verbal and hand signals; group discussions on grooming, nutrition and dog park etiquette; and how to correct common behavioral concerns. Int/Adv Obedience includes: reinforcing basic commands with added distractions; fine tuning your handling skills and increasing your dog’s responsiveness to work off leash; adding the obedience commands: finish, long distance down and down on a recall. Our most popular training program is our 4 session private in home program. This program is designed to help you teach your canine companion all of the obedience commands listed above and addresses any behavioral concerns you may have with your dog such as: housebreaking, biting, mouthing, nipping, chewing, digging, barking, jumping, or any other specific training issues your household requires. In addition to all of your private lessons, this program includes discounts to the beginner obedience classes to help you practice with the added distractions of a group setting. You will have the added benefit of consistency by having the same trainer for both your private training as well as your group classes.
