APDT Member Since 2010 Pawsitive Manners Terrified of dogs as a kid I grew to not just like them but to love them. How? Being gentle with animals, understanding, and tending to their needs are some of the things that I learned growing up in a family of animal lovers. Then later in life I became increasingly interested in learning the science of animal behavior, how they communicate and see the world around them, and how we can peacefully live and coexist with other animals.
After I was done being in the corporate world I decided to learn about dog behavior formally so I became a Certified Professional Dog trainer in 2010 after graduating from Animal Behavior College. Then I started volunteering at the Marin Humane Society as part of the Behavior Evaluation team. Certifications: BA, BS Designations: VSDT
