I am a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, Knowledge Assessed (Certificant # 2143730). I believe our relationships with dogs can be tremendously rewarding for both humans and canines with quality education, the right amount of effort, patience and kindness. I do not believe in one-size-fits-all dog training. Each dog, home and family are different, so what works best for someone else might not work well for you. One of my strengths is looking at each dog's environment and lifestyle and developing a training plan that works for YOU. There is so much more to dog training than obedience. Dogs can be trained to do almost anything, so we can develop a training plan together to teach your dog behaviors that help them integrate into your everyday life. I find many dog owners appreciate skills such as calmness, go-to-your-mat training, polite greeting skills, name recognition, attention skills, crate training as well as ways to exercise that don't involve leash walking. I particularly enjoy training puppies as well as canine athletes. I've had tremendous success teaching dogs using FitPAWS conditioning equipment. I offer private FitPAWS lessons, private consults in your home, nose works training, problem solving, assistance performing proper socialization, and even helping choosing the right dog for your lifestyle.
