Job Title: Owner/Trainer

 

Training Equipment: Buckle collar, head collar/harness if needed, leash, long line, clicker, treats, toys, kongs, chews, whistle. For agility also a perch, travel board, and target plates. For conformation a martingale.

 

Training Philosophy: The goal is a trusting partnership between you and your dog. You will allow your dog to think and solve problems and choose the correct behaviors for rewards. You will also learn how to set appropriate boundaries for your dog.

I've been training in the Baltimore area for 23 years and have a large clientele base. I'm recommended by a number of veterinarians and groomers in the area. In addition, I was named one of the top trainers by Baltimore Magazine. In addition to helping clients, I also train and compete with my own dogs in agility, conformation, obedience, nosework and barnhunt. I have particular interest in working with sighthounds and standard poodles.
