After showing horses competitively for years, in 2007, Lisa began training and then showing her standard poodle Louie. Lisa and Louie achieved AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC), Utility Dog (UD) & Versatility (VER) obedience, and Rally Excellent (RE) titles and gained an appreciation for the dog-human bond. They also became certified as a Delta/Pet Partners therapy team and volunteered at the East Palo Alto library after-school reading program called Dog Tales. In 2020, Lisa started working with a local dog breeder to socialize and train her puppies using the Puppy Culture method. Those private lessons and board & trains evolving into teaching private and group lessons at Rav’n Dog Training.
