Kristin, a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, has been training dogs for over five years professionally. She is a supporting member of the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC) and an approved American Kennel Club (AKC) Canine Good Citizen Evaluator. Kristin shares CNY Pet Training & Behavior's passion for humane, supportive, science-based training methods and regularly attends seminars, workshops and conferences to further her knowledge in the field. Among other programs she has completed the intensive IAABC Animal Behavior Consulting Principles & Practice Course and has also recently completed the Fear Free Animal Trainer Certification. Kristin volunteers her time with local rescue programs and Second Chance Canine Adoption Shelter, where she evaluates dogs and helps with training. When Kristin isn’t working or volunteering, she enjoys spending time with her daughter Emma, her four rescue cats Mele, Tommy, Lucy and Farley and rescue dogs Higgins and R2D2 “Artie”.
