Sandy began her career teaching obedience and public access training to service dogs. She is a graduate from a rigorous program through CATCH Canine Academy and is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT). Sandy is a standing member of The Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT), an AKC CGC, trick dog, and temperament evaluator, as well as a certified AKC Fit Dog instructor. She is an experienced obedience and specialty private and group class trainer, believing wholeheartedly in the science behind and practices only positive reinforcement training. A strong advocate for building the human canine bond, and an expert in how this connection is key to living harmoniously and provides long term training results. Sandy loves adventures with her Bernedoodle Beau and her labradoodle Finn, hiking and training for Rally or Agility trials when she’s not busy baking cookies with her adult kids.
