Mecca Curtice is a certified CATCH dog trainer and certified dog behavior consultant (IAABC) International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants. She has operated a rescue for 14 - years, helping dogs by training and rehabilitating those that had needed help with fear or frustrations. She offers private one-on-one training at her place or in client's homes. She enjoys setting up nose work for dogs at her place and allow the dog to go for sniffing and enrichment time. She attends the Aggression in Dogs conference each year and has always learns something from other professionals. She has completed Kim Brophey's L.E.G.S Applied Ethology Family Dog Mediation Professional Course.

Training Equipment: The equipment used in my training is harnesses, leashes, treats and long lines. Mats, or bases may be used during training also. Clickers are used, only if a dog is not fearful of the sound.

 

Training Philosophy: Using positive reinforcement training, is rewarding for the animal. And helps in building a better relationship between the family dog and the family.
