Plucky Puppy is a full-service dog training business. Although we specialize in puppy training, we work with all kinds of dogs and behavior problems and offer a variety of training solutions. Our training philosophy is based on scientific research on animal learning. We use positive reinforcement methods that are effective, humane, and make training fun for puppies and people, especially kids. Katrin Greim, MA, CTC, CPDT graduated with honors from the San Francisco SPCA’s Academy for Dog Trainers and the Marin Humane Society’s Canine Behavior Academy. She is an AKC certified Canine Good Citizen evaluator and certified in Pet First Aid and CPR. Group Classes: Group classes held at Camp Doggie Tails and Sellwood Dog Supply. Day Training: Want your puppy trained while you’re at work? No problem. Plucky Puppy will come to your house to train you dog while you’re at work. When the training is finished, we'll show you what we've taught him. Board and Train: AKA “doggy make-over.” No time to train your dog? Going on vacation and need boarding anyway? Your dog will benefit from real time personalized training for obedience, manners, and behavior issues while he enjoys family style boarding in our home. This is not doggy boot camp -- we use positive reinforcement to teach your dog. Private Training: One-on-one coaching in your home teaches you to train your dog. Hands-on training helps you develop the skills and knowledge to continue training your dog throughout her life. Puppy Packages: Our puppy packages are an alternative to traditional puppy classes, and include pre-puppy home preparation, in-home training sessions, attendance at puppy socials and some of our favorite puppy tools.
