Certifications:

 

Training Equipment: We use such things as gentle leaders, easy walk harnesses, toys, treats, long lead (for distance work, and for the CGC course), beds/blanket/towel, brushes and combs

 

Training Philosophy: In my estimation, dogs want to do things to please us, it is up to us to teach the dog, through positive reinforcement, to gain willful compliance of our requests.

My goal is to provide dog owners with the tools and knowledge necessary to have a wonderful relationship with their dogs. All too often I see the dog owner relationship reduced to adversary roles. It is my belief that dogs and people can live harmoniously through respect and mutual understanding. It is up to us to teach our dogs to understand what we want from them. If the dog is not getting the message, then a different method must be used.
