KATE PERRY is a certified mentor trainer for The Animal Behavior College. This means there are student trainers in her classes which add extra supervision for the clients & dogs. First class is free as an audit. We teach them in 6 week cycles & repeat them throughout the year. Classes are taught in Manhattan. Our methods are gentle yet effective using positive reinforcement for the desired behavior using a marker signal with either a clicker or the word YES. We also offer special training walks using Pooch Pals Petcare service of trained walkers throughout Manhattan. They help to reinforce any behavior the trainer has you working on. Her goal is that owners should feel good about training their dogs and in so doing, enhance their relationship with decisive cooperation instead of conflict.
