I specialize in curtaining behavior problems and teaching real-life manners to dogs of all breeds and all ages. I love teaching dogs tricks just for fun and also to diminish behavior problems. I also teach Veterinarians, Vet technicians and staff how to handle difficult dogs safely while enriching the hospital environment. I also work as a consultant to help families choose the right dog with the right disposition. I have over 30 years dog training experience with great success! Steve Brooks K9U was founded in Los Angeles in 1999. I'm a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA), a credential granted by the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT), I've completed rigorous tests on humane training practices using the latest scientific knowledge related to dog training. I'm a professional member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) I'm is also a licensed presenter of Family Paws Parent Education , a proud member of Pet Professional Guild where I promotes force free training. I've also writin numerous articles in Fido Friendly Magazine to name a few. I've appeared on national and international television shows spanning the globe from Canada to Japan to Australia. I've also shared my training expertise on Fox News (San Diego, Los Angeles), NBC News Palm Springs, Animal Planet, National Geographic Channel, and many more…I've appeared as a dog training expert on the Blu-ray DVD Marley and Me. My documentary, and dog music CD tilted "K9 Fusion" was featured in the Palm Springs American Documentary Film Festival. My book, DOG BITES 2nd Edition is available on Amazon, filled with expert techniques and training tips.
