Amy Weeks has been training dogs for over 15 years. She holds the following certifications: CBCC-KA, CPDT-KA, Victoria Stilwell Professional Dog Trainer, Family Pet Parent Educator, and Service Dog Consultant. She is committed to educating the public on positive training methods in lieu of force training. Along with her experience as a trainer, she has been published in Bella Dog Magazine and numerous newspapers as well as in "ADPT" Tips from Top Trainers". She is also a contributor to the Victoria Stilwell blog and newsletter.

Training Equipment: We use only positive training equipment including: buckle collars, clickers, easy walks, treats and lots of praise. We do not use choke chains, prongs, or shock collars.

We use positive reinforcement in all of our training methods. We believe that knowledge is power. We give you the tools to use throughout the lifetime of your dog. We offer training for all issues including aggression, separation anxiety, house training, basic manners and more. We also offer group classes, CGC evaluations, and service dog evaluations and training. Private training is usually at the client's home. We also provide assistance with behavioral issues, socialization and proper management. We offer Canine Good Citizen evaluations and testing. We can also help prior to obtaining a pet and can work with you to help you find the best "fit" for your lifestyle. We also offer the "Dogs & Storks" program which helps prepare the family dog for the new baby. We realize that each dog and each family situation is different and offer individualized service for our clients.
