Service Dog & Therapy Dog Training may include but not limited to: AKC STAR. Puppy, CGC, Public Access Test,7 levels of Obedience, Special skill & Trick training/testing. Behavior modification training as needed.

Classes for your Service/Therapy Dog in training; (what class you start with depends on the dogs age and/or any previous training) start with AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program & test. AKC Canine Good Citizen classes & Test. Public Access Test for Service & Therapy Dogs. 7 levels of obedience. You will be introduced to agility and learn by playing fun games and tricks. The Service Dog & Therapy dog program teaches persons how to train their own dog. Service Dog training includes but not limited to: persons with physical disabilities, autism, seizure episodes, hearing, panic disorders, PTSD, or depression. Therapy Dog training includes training for dogs visiting hospitals/nursing homes and assist children or adults with reading disorders. All programs are clicker & lure reward based (positive reinforcement). We utilize games & agility in the training to keep learning fun for everyone while building confidence and a solid foundation. If your dog develops annoying behaviors (such as excessive barking, digging etc)this can be addressed with some behavior modification sessions Private and group classes are available.
