Training can be at your home or at our location in Delaware, Ohio, a 6-acre former dog park with a 1-acre pond. I use Conversational Training (developed by Leslie McDevitt) structured by both the Humane Hierarchy and what works for your particular dog! I have a Ph.D. in behavioral psychology, which has provided the unique knowledge needed for a deep understanding of what your dog is thinking, and how to use that understanding to effectively work with your dog in achieving the training goals you set. In addition, I worked with dogs at our local Humane Society for 10 years, as well as with those of others in our community for 30 years. I also have completed the Karen Pryor Academy training course and attended numerous webinars offered by APDT. My rates are as low as $20.00/session, with each session at least 60 minutes, and I will refund any fees if you feel my training methods do not work for you and your dog. My specialties are basic training for both puppies and adult dogs, and working with reactive dogs and those with separation distress.
