I call myself a "pet-parent coach" because I coach the owners how to train their dog (s). I teach the dog owners about dog body language, dog psychology, your dog's learning process, specific training strategies and activities that will help you build and strengthen a relationship with your dog. ​I utilize my instructional design education and work experience in my dog training methodology. First, I assess your needs and your dogs' needs, work with you to determine the ideal outcomes, and then work backwards to figure out the stepping stones between the current state and ideal state.
