Christine has been fully immersed in animal behavior since moving to James Island in 2016, particularly the humane treatment of “problem” dogs. In August 2019, she quit her day job in the behavior department of Charleston Animal Society (the local animal shelter) and ventured into the world of small business and entrepreneurship.
Christine also moonlights as Training Coordinator for Wonder Dog University. She acts as administrative lead, while also helping clients as both a training assistant and an independent instructor. She teaches clients via private consults and group classes, covering topics ranging from puppy socialization to reactivity and aggression.
Christine’s free time is mainly spent enjoying the Lowcountry with (you guessed it!) her two foster-fail dogs, Faith and Lydia - her greatest teachers and favorite learners!
