Training Equipment: We will use whatever equipment is the safest and easiest for you and your dog to ensure comfort, efficiency, and humane practices.
Training Philosophy: I take a holistic approach to training, which means that I take into account all factors affecting your dog's behavior, in order to address your dog's physical, social, and emotional health and to determine the best way to help you reach your goals.
Locations Served: The greater Los Angeles area.
I have over ten years of experience working in Animal-Assisted Interventions with children, young adults, and elderly populations. I also have over 10 years experience working as a professional dog trainer and have worked with thousands of dogs of all breeds and backgrounds. I am passionate about rescue work and have volunteered with private rescue organizations and LA Animal Services to rehabilitate traumatized and aggressive dogs. I am also an expert in the area of child-dog socialization and work to educate the community about dog safety, which helps to prevent children from being bitten by dogs. Recently, I went back to school to pursue a master's degree in Occupational Therapy. With this degree, I hope to be able to develop community-based programs that pair shelter dogs with special populations in order to increase the health and wellbeing of all involved.
